SUMMARY
Yemen has seen catastrophic conflict for over a decade , and families have been separated as over 4 million people fled for safety. Many are living in unsanitary and overcrowded internally displaced persons’ (IDP) camps. With no access to food, clean water nor healthcare, children are dying every day and thousands are sinking into malnutrition or facing deadly diseases.
Many areas are often exposed to drought and the rapid increase in population has placed a further strain on access to water. EgyptAid is working to alleviate the devastating impacts of poverty & destruction through providing food, clean water, supporting families, orphans, widows, students of knowledge and more to provide a longer-term solution and help rebuild Yemen.
Abu Huraira reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever relieves the hardship of a believer in this world, Allah will relieve his hardship on the Day of Resurrection. Whoever helps ease one in difficulty, Allah will make it easy for him in this world and the Hereafter.”
