Zayd ibn Khalid reported: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said: مَنْ فَطَّرَ صَائِمًا كَانَ لَهُ مِثْلُ أَجْرِهِ غَيْرَ أَنَّهُ لَا يَنْقُصُ مِنْ أَجْرِ الصَّائِمِ شَيْئًا Whoever helps break the fast of a fasting person, he will have the same reward as him without decreasing anything from the reward of the fasting person. Source: Sunan al-Tirmidhī 807 The need for hot meals and food parcels to sustain a family through this economic crisis and currency devaluation in Egypt is severe. Therefore, we’ve decided to continue our hot meal preparation and food parcel distribution through the year to those that are most needy. We need your support, from the orphans, widows, sick, poor, disabled, students, elderly and more. The bulk of the recipients of hot meals and food parcels are widows and women in general. This small relief of food at least settles the families for a few weeks. Please support our sisters in Egypt. In 2020 we handed out 900 plus meals daily for iftar. In 2021 we had a target of 1500 meals daily, which we reached by the 24th day of Ramadan. In 2022 we flourished with 1700 to 2000 meals daily, all from the bounty of Allah and your generous donations. Take a look at what you helped achieve last Ramadan:

With your amazing support we were able to raise £74k in Ramadan and the remainder of 2022. Of which over the year:

• £10.6k of Zakat Cash distributed
• £5.3k of Hot Iftar Meals handed out (3,000 Meals)
• £2.9k of Dry Food Packs donated (145 Parcels)
• £400 of Eid Gifts for Children and Orphans gifted (40 Eid Gifts)
• £1.1k of Zakatul Fitr Food Bags delivered (550 Bags)
• £3k of Animals sacrificed (21 Goats £1.7k, 10 Sheep £1k, 2 Shares of Cow/Buffalo £350)
• £200 of Medical Assistance provided (40 Individuals)
• £22.2k of Hospital Funds collected (Under Construction)
• £1.6k of Gift Aid claimed (Awaiting Release)
• £26.7k of Sadaqah utilised (Covering remainder of Iftar Meals, Food Packs, Eid Gifts, Medical Support, Orphans, and Widows Support)
